Intern Roles and Goals

As an intern I will help incorporate technology into lesson plans and curriculum. I will provide the teachers with available and free resources in order to allow the students to become immersed within the digital environment. The teachers will become enabled with the ideas and tools in order to connect with the net generation.

Short term goals:
1. Develop a relationship with my mentor teacher and principal.
2. Determine the teachers technology ability though individual meetings as well as surveys.
3. Set up follow-up meetings in order to create goals and objectives for the school year.

Long term goals:
1. Evaluate the teachers use of technology throughout the year by observing teaching styles and recommend ideas to be implemented into the lesson plan.
2. To continually evaluate the ease of use by the teachers and their use of technology.
3. Ensure the teachers self sustainability for use of resources that can be utilized without the intern.
